Fate Testarossa from the Nanoha the Movie 1st decides to go to the beach…
For some reason, 2 Fate Testarossa appeared at my door step. It seemed that I had ordered the same figurine from 2 different sources. In any case, seeing how Alter had painfully recreated Fate in her almost-adolescent summer swimsuit figure, I had no choice but to do a review.
Before the unboxing part, let us look at the unboxed Fate…
How fate would probably looked like on a messy desk…
Here is the full review…
Once you tore off the protective semi-transparent rice-paper…
The sides of the box will make you notice Fate from far, far away…
While the other side had a little window, and a picture of Fate’s back…
The back of the box is very much transparent, and so, you will naturally see Fate’s little butt…
Half of the top of the box is also transparent, making it easy for the buyer to inspect their goods…
The bottom of the box is the most boring part of the box, since all of the legal mambo jambo are written on the bottom…
At the corner, you will find the Holographic sticker from Alter, indicating that it is a real item from Alter…
There is also a golden seal at the front of the box, which will be expensive for pirates…
Once Fate is taken out of the box, you will see Fate carefully protected by layers of clear plastics…
And Fate’s butt in full glory…. well, almost.
Once the front protective plastic was taken apart, you will see the real deal, with a bit of plastic sheets protecting places that moves…
Here is the base. Noticed that just like Vivio’s figurine, only one of her legs is supported?
The sculptor could have used a twin legged support base, but didn’t. I can only speculate that Alter have confidence that their PVC do not lean, even after a long time.
Here is a closeup of the foot that connects to the base…
Noticed the Hexagonal shaped holes? It is a move away from the usual round holes that sculptors used.
And since Fate’s little dress is an optional item, and thus, moves around, a piece of plastic was wrapped round Fate’s waist to protect the paint…
Here is a closeup of here little blue dress…
And since you have to “take Fate apart”, you will be seeing Fate being tore apart…
Once assembled, Fate would look something like this…
And since she does not take up too much space, unlike her grown up version, she can be placed anywhere, and have you looking at her…
From different angles everyday…
And since I know some of you like it, here is a closeup of Fate’s butt…
Even the smallest details were not forgotten…
Her little Bow at the middle of her Bikini…
Her foot. Look closely as you will be able to see her nails too…
Her toenails…
Will be taking a better macro shot when I have the time.
Here is her crotch with the little dress…
Here’s her butt, now with her dress…
Here is a special shot for some of you out there…
A small instruction manual was included…
If you really like Fate, go grab her while she is still available.
